Marco Messina

Arezzo

Marco holds a degree in Political Science with History, and has spent more than 10 years as an Italian, English and French-speaking tourist guide for the areas of Arezzo, Florence and Siena. His passion for history, art and the region with its numerous aspects is the base of his profession. Marco also loves music and the Blues in particular – which he plays on his harmonica. It’s not unusual for him to give a most enjoyable performance during a guided tour.

Monica Tarloni

Castellina in Chianti, Siena

Monica graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Florence. She then achieved her dream of combining her passion for languages and art with her love of the region in becoming a tourist guide for Siena and Florence.
She is always on the look-out for curiosities and novelties that will make a visit unique and special. Monica has a particular fondness for paintings and her tours will always be filled with an infectious enthusiasm. She also nurtures an interest in choral singing which she has practised for a number of years. Monica speaks English and German. 

Stefania Fabrizi

Chiusi, Siena

Stefania is a tour leader and a guide for Siena and the surrounding area and an amateur sommelier.
She shows professionalism and enthusiasm in her work which is combined perfectly with her natural gift dealing with people.
She has been fortunate in developing some of her own passions in her work – a love for art, wine and food, offering fascinating wine tours, where history and art merge with local traditions and cuisine - including wine, pecorino, oil and honey tastings with the producers. 
Stefania speaks fluent English.

Klaus Schell

Montepulciano, Siena

After 20 years of teaching Art and English, Klaus relocated to Tuscany some years ago. For a number of years he has been working in tourism as a tour leader and for the last few years as a tourist guide in the province of Siena. He has a great passion for photography and playing music.
Klaus speaks Italian, English and German

Dace Fridrihsone

Siena

Official guide for Siena and the surrounding area. Dace speaks Italian, English, German, Russian and Latvian.
She is passionate about cinema and theatre, and likes exploring things in depth and in a creative way. Dace loves history, art and architecture – three elements which make her feel at home wherever she may be.

Fernanda Biserni

Castel del Piano, Grosseto

Authorized local tourist guide for Siena, Florence and Grosseto province and authorized Program Director.
After living abroad for many years where she worked as a Tour Leader she returned home in the year 2000 and she is lucky now to do the job she loves and that makes her creative. 
The passion for art, history and travelling helped her to grow professionally and to learn more about her country, people and the culture of these places.
She is a great connoisseur of food and wine and often guides enogastronomic tours.

Alberto Barresi

Siena

Alberto is an official English and Italian-speaking tourist guide for Siena and the surrounding area. He holds a degree in Political Science with History. He brings together his passion for history and literature with travel and nature. Alberto is a keen sportsman with a passion for golf.
